The Fotep vocational class is a 6 week job readiness program that assists Female Offenders in Treatment. This class teaches and empowers the women to be self sufficient and also to search for a career in the field that fascinates them. We teach lessons about the US Business Culture, how to work for advancement, basic computer skills, as well as other topics, and most importantly how they overcome their barriers, which include felonies, and work gaps. The Good Sheperd Hospice. I volunteer with them giving free hair cuts, manicures and pedicures to the patients.
